F E S T I V A L N E W S
Dear Friends of the Festival,
The 29th International Guitar Festival - City of Mottola (Italy) returns from July 1 to 11, 2021 in a hybrid version, with live events and online events.
To deal with the pandemic emergency we have adapted and reorganized, at least for this year, the traditional programming of our festival. Until 2019, in fact, the guitar was the absolute protagonist for nine days from the opening evening with "Serenate" in the squares of the historic center of Mottola (the so-called Schiavonia), to the spaces of the Liceo Scientifico and in other locations in our area chosen by year after year to offer the public an always unique and exciting show .
After the last edition completely online, this year we have decided to carry out online the two sections of the 27th International Competition of Musical Performance for Guitar, some concerts and conferences.
Instead, the evening dedicated to the six strings in Schiavonia (Largo Chiesa) is back in attendance, but in a reduced format with 3 live events with a controlled and safe access. And concerts, masterclasses, the guitar orchestra are also back, always in safety respecting the protocols for the containment of Covid-19.
All online activities will be broadcast on our social profiles:
