NEWS
Dear Friends of the Festival,
the 28th International Guitar Festival-City of Mottola is back with 3 unmissable events for its Winter Online Edition!
Let's start on Thursday December 17 with the Se.Go.Vi.O. Quartet in "Dances and soundtracks" with Salvatore Seminara (guitar), Stefano Gori (flute), Paolo Vignani (accordion) and Gabriele Oglina (clarinet), the pieces are chosen and arranged very well in order to best emphasize the expressive possibilities of each single instrument of the group.
Friday December 18 we'll follow the Gassa D’Amante duo with Claudio Prima (accordion and voice) and Morris Pellizzari (guitars and voice) in the "Musical journey through the knots of the Mediterranean". Their musical project is a sort of intimate dialogue between the cultural and musical contaminations of the Mediterranean, starting from Salento to the Balkans, Turkey, Algeria and Spain, through both unpublished and traditional rearranged songs.
The final evening of Monday December 21 is entrusted to a very special duo: Raiz & Radicanto. Theirs is a hybrid music, a concert at the same time refined and powerful, in which the author's songs by Raiz of Almamegretta are reread with rhythm and elegance in a deconstructed key, brought back to its essence, the journey, through the guitar of Giuseppe De Trizio of Radicanto. A succession of Sephardic cantigas, psalms, Neapolitan songs, Portuguese fado, North African, Middle Eastern and Asian rhythms that make the Mediterranean a reality without borders.
The result is a music made of interaction and mutual influence… not to be missed❗️
